Set with a round old cut diamond in an open backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, flanked by eight round eight cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats, further set with four round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.22 carats, to an ornate flanked solitaire design featuring polished and millegrain edges, a decoratively pierced gallery with foliate motifs and open backholing, leading to trumpeting raised shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a slim D-shapeshank. Testedplatinum, maker's mark 'R*G', French, circa 1930.
