Vintage yellow Ceylonsapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set to center with an oval shape yellow Ceylon sapphire in an open backclaw setting with a weight of 3.06 carats, further set with two heart shaped mixed cut diamonds in open back half-rubover settings with a combined weight of approximate 0.20 carats, to a stylised three stone design featuring polished edges, a solid gallery and an open circular backholing, leading to broad integrated shoulders with a textured bark-like finish, and tapering through to a solid textured flat shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Service report #5783-2756.
