Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond, with an approximate weight of 0.65 carat in an open back claw setting, to an impressive solitaire design with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders with carved detailing and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, full hallmarks for London, English, 1878.
