Emerald and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to center with an octagonal step-cut natural emerald in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, further set with eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.75 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery, and fancy shape open backholing, leading to split carved shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1890.
