Victorian diamond solitaire ring. Set with a round old cut diamond, G colour, VS1 clarity, with a weight of 0.50 carats, in an open back claw setting, to a solitaire design featuring curving claws, an pierced gallery and circular open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders with ridged detail and flowing through to a solid chamfered shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #2221296048.
