Victorian diamond flower earrings. A matching pair, set to centre with one cushion shape old mine diamond in an open backcut-down setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 4.20 carats, further set with fifty one cushion shape old mine diamonds in one earring, and fifty two cushion shape old mine diamonds in the other, all in open back cut-down and grain settings, one hundred and three in total with a combined weight of 7.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 11.50 carats to an impressive pair of floral earrings featuring polished edges, and fancy open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly, approximately 2.5 cm wide. Tested yellow gold and silver, circa 1880.
