Victorian diamond and enamel tiger brooch. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in a closed backclaw setting, with an approximate weight of 0.20 carats, further set with two round old cut diamonds in closed back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.04 carats. The approximate total diamond weight is 0.24 carats, to an enamel tiger design, featuring an intricately carved tigers head with enamel markings, a fierce expression and closed backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure brooch pin with safety catch and a pendent bale fashioned as a tigers tail, approximately 2cm in length. Marked 14 carat yellow gold, marked 'PAT MAY', numbered '27.02', American, circa 1900, accompanied with a fitted box.
