Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in a open backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.05 carats, surrounded by forty square calibre cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back channel settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.70 carats, further set with fifty-two round eight cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.55 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.60 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring polished edges and fancy open backholing, leading to broad shoulders and flowing through to flat shank featuring intricate linear openwork. Testedplatinum, circa 1935.
