Centrally set with an oval shape old cutnatural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open backclaw setting with a weight of 0.80 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old minediamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.55 carats, further adorned by six round eight cut diamond in closed backgrain settings with a weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate combined diamond weight is 0.61 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricate pierced scrolling gallery and fancy backholing, to raised shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shapeshank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-2721.
