Set to center with a round old cut diamond, with an approximate weight of 1.10 carat, in an open back claw setting, to an elegant illusion set solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, leading to smooth split shoulders and flowing through to a solid tapered flat shaped shank. Marked 18 carat white gold and platinum, indistinct maker's mark, French, circa 1935.
