Natural pearl and diamond pendant. Set with an oval shape natural freshwater pearl in a open back half-drilled setting, approximately 7.0mm x 7.8mm, further set with three cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.20 carats, and decorated with forty-five round mixed old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.75 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.95 carats, to an openwork design featuring foliate motifs and millegrain edging, a smooth gallery and intricately shaped open backholing, fitted to top with an oval bale with a fine trace link chain and secure C-clasp. Pendant approximately 2.5 cm in length, chain approximately 16" in length. Pendant tested platinum and yellow gold, chain marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6223652030 and Gem and Pearl Laboratory report #23758.
