Set with a cushion shape old cutnatural unenhanced yellow Ceylon sapphire in an open back four split claw setting with an approximate weight of 21.00 carats, flanked by four square step cutdiamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.28 carats and six round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.58 carats, to an impressive solitaire, the structured openwork gallery with wirework highlights and pierced backholing, the geometric stepped shoulders leading through to a solid D-shapeshank. Testedplatinum with yellow gold claws, English, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-2948.
