A matching pair, each set with seven round old cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open and closed back claw settings, fourteen in total, with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, further adorned by three oval cabochon carved natural unenhanced rubies in open back claw settings, six in total, with a combined approximate weight of 2.30 carats, to a floral design featuring a linear carved disk, curving claws and open and closed backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure hinged clip fitting, approximately 1.8cm in length. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, signed 'MELLERIO DITS MELLER 108.OR.', indistinct maker's mark, French, circa 1940.
