Set vertically to centre with three round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings and flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings, five in total with a combined approximate weight of 2.30 carats, further adorned with six round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.15 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.45 carats, to a curving cluster form with intricately pierced openwork featuring decorative foliate engraving, an finely pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to lightly engraved trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, signed 'J E C & Co'., American, circa 1910.
