A yellow gold hair slide, featuring a hand with ruffled cuff holding a sprig of leaves and berries between the index and forefinger, and wearing a ring set with a cushion shape old cut emerald with an approximate weight of 0.02 carats, the hand covered with dappled engraved decoration and the cuff engraved with acanthus leaves on a dappled background, with elongated diamond shaped wire barrette, and circular pressure fit clasp. Tested yellow gold, English, circa 1800.
