Enamelled memorial ring. Set centrally with an oval crystal plaque covering a fragment of leather, surrounded by a series of black and white enamelled borders, engraved in italic script to the underside 'Josiah Monnery died 8 June 1798 Aged 76', flanked by broad trumpeting shoulders with further enamel detail and tapering through to a flat shank. Tested rose gold, English, circa 1790.
