Edwardian diamond drop necklace, circa 1910. Set centrally with a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, further set with twenty two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.45 carats, and decorated with fourteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.35 carats, to an elegant cluster necklace featuring intricate openwork with millegrain edging, linear decorative galleries, and fancy shape open backholing, fitted to top with a secure trace chain which terminates with a secure engraved push clasp and safety catch, pendant approximately 5cm in length, chain approximately 15" in length. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by box.
