Description

Colombian emerald and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with moderate clarity enhancement in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.85 carats, surrounded by eighteen round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.36 carats, to an elegant geometric design featuring intricate openwork with millegrain edging, a pierced gallery with chenier detail, and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders terminating with ridges and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gem & Pearl Lab report #23367.
