Colombian emerald and diamond crossover ballerina ring. Diagonally set with one rectangular emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement and minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, further set with one rectangular emerald-cut diamond, E/F colour, VS1/VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, in an open back claw setting, further enhanced with five round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain and claw settings with a combined weight of 0.45 carats, set to top and bottom with curved single rows of twenty two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.75 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.30 carats, to a crossover ballerina form featuring polished borders, a decoratively pierced gallery and fancy shaped open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a squared shank. Marked platinum and iridium, American, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services reports #5775-1446 and #5775-1501.
