Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon alexandrite in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, encircled by fourteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, to an elegant elongated coronet cluster design featuring scalloped millegrain edging, a decoratively pierced gallery with scrolling motifs, and open backoling, leading to inwardly tapering raised shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-1799.
