A matching pair of yellow gold cufflinks, each set with a round cabochon natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, composed of a hinged openwork v-shaped panel with one end a central octagonal plaque with engraved border and the other a matching octagonal plaque engraved with rays emanating from a central dot, with secure push and clip fastening, approximately 1.4cm in width. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, french control marks, circa 1950.
