Set with a cushion shape cabochon natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 13.00 carats, to an impressive solitaire featuring polished edges, a smooth gallery and fancy open star shape backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, engraved '13.01CT', circa 1990, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-2091.
