Burmese ruby and diamond cluster earrings. A matching pair, each set with seven cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back claw and grain settings, fourteen in total, with a combined approximate weight of 3.50 carats, further decorated with six round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings, twelve in total with a combined approximate weight of 0.24 carats, to a pair of cluster earrings featuring curving claws and granular detail, pierced galleries and open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly, approximately 1.2cm in length. Tested yellow gold, circa 1905.
