Set to centre with a round old cutnatural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in a open backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.50 carats, adorned by thirty six round rose cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.60 carats, further set with eight round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats, and decorated with four round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined weight of 0.25 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.05 carats, to an elegant elongated cluster featuring intricate openwork with millegrain edging, a decoratively pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and fancy shape open backholing, leading to inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail, flowing through to a solid shank.
