Belle Époque diamond and Burmeseruby coronet cluster ring by Maurice Beck. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open backgrain setting with an approximate weight of 1.60 carats, encircled by ten round old cutnatural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.80 carats, further adorned with eight rose cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.02 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.62 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring an engraved border, an intricately pierced scalloped gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by stylized foliate form shoulders flowing through to a chamfered solid tapering shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, settings testedplatinum, maker's mark for Maurice Beck, French, circa 1910.
