Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 0.78 carats, to an intricately carved design with stylised flora motifs, raised curving claws and circular backholing, the trumpeting shoulders tapering to a solid shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1900.
