Art Deco opal drop pendant. Set with one drop shape cabochon natural opal in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 4.00 carats, and set above with one oval cabochon natural opal in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.30 carats. The total approximate opal weight is 5.30 carats, to an impressive drop pendant feturing curving split claws, a linear pierced gallery, and fancy shape open backholing, fitted to top with a fine trace chain with a secure C-clasp, pendant approximately 4cm in length, chain approximately 17" in length. Tested white gold, circa 1930.
