Fancy yellow diamond flank solitaire ring. Set centrally with one octagonal asscher cut natural unenhanced fancy yellow diamond, VVS2 clarity, with a weight of 1.15 carats, in an open back four claw setting flanked by two tapering baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.25 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design with geometric pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flowing through to raised shoulders leading to a solid square shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, numbered '20', circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) report #2211256272.
