Description

Art Nouveau ruby and diamond crossover ring. Centrally set with two round old cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, further adorned with thirteen round old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.43 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the shoulders with chamfered design flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, tested silver, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81288-64.
